Tips

The triangle inequality theorem states that for any triangle, the length of any side of the triangle must be less than the sum of the lengths of the other two sides of the triangle and greater than the difference between the lengths of the other two sides.


Figures are drawn to scale on the SAT Math Test unless explicitly stated otherwise. If a question states that a figure is not drawn to scale, be careful not to make unwarranted assumptions about the figure.
